To celebrate the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, we created a limited edition ‘transatlantic’ biscuit, bringing the nation’s favourite biscuit, the Chocolate Digestive, together with a classic all-American flavour. We polled Brits via Twitter for their favourite all-American flavour, with more than 76,000 people voting for chocolate fudge brownie. Working closely with the R&D team, we created a limited run presented in specially designed Royal Wedding packaging.
Ahead of the big day, packs were sent to media, influencers and celebrities with British and American connections. Plus consumers were given the chance to win packs via a social competition. The campaign surpassed all KPIs, with a media reach of more than 1 billion (yes the story travelled across the pond!) and a social reach of 4 million+. SATC’s Sarah Jessica Parker also excitedly snapped the biscuits on her Insta!
