Savoury Cocktails, with Jacob’s

To celebrate the launch of the scrumptious new Jacob’s Cracker Crisps range earlier this month we created the Gourmet Snacktail Bar in Soho and hosted an event there. Open to media and the public, we served up a range of savoury cocktails alongside expert mixologist Matt Whiley, all created to perfectly pair with the flavours of the new Cracker Crisps!

We found that over half of Brits (56%) said they would like to try a savoury cocktail, so here’s a flavor of what we created to get your taste buds jingling:

Chilli Con Carne Snacktail

Mixing a chilli flavoured spirit with a smoky Texan whiskey; this drink will make you feel like you’ve just opened a can of chilli – served with a cumin bitters pipette for an added bit of flavour and depth.

Plum Spring Roll Snacktail

This cocktail packs all the flavours of a spring roll, and is lifted with sweet chilli undertones, and splashes of lime juice.

Fish and Chips Snacktail

This cocktail will make you feel like you’re eating fish and chips by the sea. With battered potato vodka and a side of fish and chip seasoning, this one is sure to leave you feeling nostalgic.
