HERE Technologies is one of the hottest names in mapping, building the world’s leading open location platform to power the maps and location services of the future. Having been part of Nokia until 2015, the company is now independent and backed by investors AUDI AG, BMW Group, Daimler AG, Intel and Pioneer.
HERE just enjoyed a hugely successful CES in Las Vegas, announcing a partnership with Virgin Hyperloop One to create a passenger app for the high speed transport system, as well as strategic partnerships with UNIFLY to enable airspace maps for drones, LG for self-driving cars and Mastercard to create more connected experiences for people on the move.
3MZ will raise awareness of the HERE brand among key automotive customers, industry associations as well as technology opinion leaders and influencers. 3MZ has also been charged with positioning HERE as the thought-leader in all things open location, powering location services for customers across all industries.
3MZ will support HERE across the full spectrum of PR, from day-to-day press office functions to writing and creative ideas, driving relevance with its target audiences across all channels. 3MZ also play a pivotal role in thought-leadership and creative campaign development and execution to drive mainstream fame for the brand.
Adam Clatworthy, Associate Director at 3 Monkeys Zeno, will lead the account and work with Dirk Popp, Global Head of Corporate Communications at HERE Technologies, who is based in Berlin.
Popp said: “Our business is at a critical time in its evolution, with location technology playing a big role in making our roads safer and air cleaner, to helping enterprises and cities work more efficiently. We’ve appointed 3MZ after an extensive review of UK agency capabilities – its enthusiasm, creativity and media expertise will help us take our storytelling to the next level.”
